When did you begin your career in the title or real estate industry and how did you get your start?
My career in the title industry began 44 years ago in San Antonio, Tx. In September, 2009 I accepted my current position with Mission Title as Division Manager, overseeing the escrow operations. The prior 14 years was spent as Vice-President of a National Title Company working in escrow management and two years as head of their national training department. Prior to that was progressive roles from Escrow Officer/Branch Manager to Operations Management.
What is the most satisfying part of your role in the transaction process and what makes you stand out from others in your industry?
The most satisfying part to me is seeing the development of our talented people. Whether it be introducing someone new to the title business or reigniting veterans, the constant change in our business and marketplaces is always a welcomed challenge.
What factors from your past experience have contibuted the most to your current unique skill set?
My extensive experience in all aspects of the title industry along with active involvement in industry related organizations have given me the ability to stay calm in a crisis, be uniquely resourceful in finding solutions and sort clearly through complicated transaction matters.
