When did you begin your career in the title or real estate industry and how did you get your start?

I started in the title/real estate industry in 2015 and loving it. There is so much to learn but I am absorbing it like a sponge. I started off as a Receptionist/Escrow Assistant and am now the Pre-Closing Coordinator. I was wanting to change careers and was lucky enough to find out that Mission Title was hiring

What is the most satisfying part of your role in the transaction process and what makes you stand out from others in your industry?

It is very satisfying to see all the pre-closing documents are ready for the Escrow Officer. I also enjoy being able to help new home buyers and sellers go thru the process of getting to their closing day. My husband and I closed on our house in June 2015 and I know how worried someone can get when buying a new home.

What factors from your past experience have contibuted the most to your current unique skill set?

Coming from Quality Control, Human Resources and the medical field I think it helps me with knowing how important it is to keep things private and secure. With my past experiences I know and understand why things have to be entered in correctly and to enter things in a timely manner.

When you're away from the busy Mission Title office, what are some of your favorite activities ?

Some of my favorite activities outside of work are to spend time with my husband and our four kids if you include our dog. I am very much a homebody but we do like to go on dinner dates with other couples. Throwing parties is probably one thing I really love to do...have all of our friends over and the kids running around playing together. I stay very busy outside of work with our girls doing Ballet, Modern and Tap also with our son being in the Marching Band at MacArthur High School. Go Brahmas!!
