When did you begin your career in the title or real estate industry and how did you get your start?
Elizabeth grew up in Beirut Lebanon and La Jolla, California. After 2 years in condo sales, Elizabeth was approached about a position at a title company as the Director of First Impressions in 2012. After several years as a receptionist, Elizabeth is learning the role of an escrow assistant.
What is the most satisfying part of your role in the transaction process and what makes you stand out from others in your industry?
The most satisfying aspect of her role as the front desk/escrow assistant is the personal relationships she is able to establish with agents and clients. Elizabeth enjoys interacting with each agent and client when they come into the office. Being a small part of seeing someone’s dream of home ownership become a reality is truly a blessing. Seeing buyer’s so excited about the purchase of a home, especially their first home is a great experience.
What factors from your past experience have contibuted the most to your current unique skill set?
Having sold condos for a developer in the past, has enabled Elizabeth to see both sides of the agent and title roles. The unique skills she has gained from her past experiences are to listen, be patient, and compassionate to each individuals situation and anticipate the next step.
Having lived many years in the Middle East and London has given her knowledge of other cultures and life encounters.
When you're away from the busy Mission Title office, what are some of your favorite activities ?
When not at the office, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her adult daughter and friends. She has a passion for animals and enjoys volunteering at Austin Pets Alive and working on her home projects like re-finishing old furniture and decorating.
