This course will begin by examining Wrap-Around Financing in the residential and commercial industry, the applicable law governing those transactions, and the insurability or non-insurability thereof based on underwriting requirements and concerns. Transactions concerning properties being acquired subject to existing indebtedness will then be discussed, as well as the insurability of and requirements for those transactions. Next we will discuss title issues that arise relating to UCC issues and how to deal with these when they are on title. Finally, we will briefly address issues that arise in regards to the insurability of undivided interests in property.
