Zumper recently examined May’s median rent prices of one-bedroom homes in Washington D.C. this summer. Here are its findings:
Over the past year, rents for both one and two-bedroom units in Washington D.C. have appreciated around 8 percent. Downtown-Penn Quarter-Chinatown and Logan Circle-Shaw were tied for the most expensive rental neighborhood in May, both asking for a median of $2,600 a month for one-bedroom units.
