Two market-leading Coldwell Banker and Century 21 franchises in Pennsylvania have switched over to Howard Hanna Real Estate in the past month as the large Pittsburgh-based independent real estate firm continued its expansion in the eastern part of the country.
Last week, Coldwell Banker Bainbridge Kaufman of Crawford County joined the Howard Hanna Real Estate franchise, now to be known as Howard Hanna Bainbridge Kaufman Real Estate.
Led by David Schepner and Pam Willis, with six offices in Pennsylvania’s Crawford County and one in Ohio, it has been no. 1 in closed units and volume in its market since 2001, Howard Hanna claimed on its company blog; the Bainbridge Kaufman name has been around for 66 years.
Meanwhile, in March, Century 21 Krall Real Estate in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, moved over from Century 21 to a Howard Hanna franchise.
In business since 1973 and led by Holly Krall-Heft, the firm now known as Howard Hanna Krall Real Estate, had been a Century 21 franchise for 30 years and was the no. 1 company in listings sold in Lebanon County for 33 of the past 35 years, Howard Hanna claimed on its company blog.
Howard Hanna said its franchise program allowed franchisees to keep ownership and do decision-making locally, while giving them marketing and training support.

“Pam, David, Holly and their teams have worked very hard to earn the leading position in their markets, and we are thrilled that they have chosen to join our team,” said Helen Hanna Casey, Howard Hanna CEO.
Howard Hanna has over 260 offices across eight states including Pennsylvania, New York and North Carolina.
