To score a sale, real estate agents have been known to get creative — and, in the case of Douglas Elliman agent Telly Karoussos, even break out the guitar.
After taking on a newly-built $1.995-million property in the Hamptons, Karoussos decided to liven up his listing with a short video of himself singing the house’s praises.
“This is the master [bedroom], light and bright,” Karoussos sings in the video while playing country music on his guitar. “Walk around the corner, go out tonight.”
According to Curbed, which first drew attention to the video, Karoussos spends his spare time singing in a band called Hopefully Forgiven.
Luckily, Karoussos had a house with plenty to sing about. Located at East Hampton’s 11 Indian Hill Road, the property has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a pool and an open floor plan.

Back in November, the space sold for $525,000, getting listed for $1,895,000 a year later. By summer 2018, the price had gone up — Karoussos hopes his song will help find a buyer willing to pay $1,995,000.
Over the years, more and more real estate agents have taken to creative ways to draw attention to their listings — some have posed in property photos wearing dinosaur suits while others have parodied Taylor Swift’s song “Shake It Off.”
