Beverly Hills-based luxury brokerage The Agency has expanded into Utah, folding two recently merged local firms, Park City Realty Group and Glenwild Realty, under its umbrella.
The new franchise, to be named The Agency in Park City, will have two offices in Park City, home to the Sundance Film Festival and a destination for skiers and snowboarders around the globe (like its parent, it will be known simply by “The Agency” moniker in the local market). One location will be led by Charlie Taylor and Jake Doilney, the other by Mike Mazzone. Combined, the businesses have closed more than $713.44 million in real estate deals.
“Park City remains one of the most sought-after destinations for those seeking homes that are primed to enjoy the great outdoors year-round,” said Mauricio Umansky, CEO and co-founder of The Agency, in a company announcement issued earlier this week.
The Agency in Park City will service buyers, sellers and developers, as well as negotiate luxury leases on behalf of their clients.
“The Agency’s marketing and public relations divisions are a formidable force, and we can’t wait to make a splash in the Park City market,” said Mazzone, managing partner of The Agency in Park City, in the prepared statement.
The Agency has maintained its boutique feel despite its growth, and The Agency in Park City will follow suit, added Doilney.
