Re/Max is one of the largest real estate franchisors in the world and has been an iconic brand in American real estate for the better part of four decades.
Now, we will get to learn more about Re/Max’s inner workings and its plans for the future from its CEO Adam Contos.

Contos also has a storied past: a former U.S. Marine from 1990 to 1996, and a law enforcement officer holding various positions with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado from 1993 to 2004 (including as a SWAT Tactical Commander), he served as co-CEO of the company alongside its founder Dave Liniger, until he was appointed sole CEO in February 2018 following an ethics scandal and internal investigation over an improperly disclosed home loan from Lininger to Contos.
RealScout CEO Andrew Flachner will be asking questions about the ethical issues that transpired, as well about Re/Max’s moves to position itself more at the forefront of real estate technology, such as through its acquisition of web developer Booj and its use of new marketing technologies, which are taking place at a tech “land grab” throughout the industry.
