That’s a lot of pancakes.
Nathan Finkel, the son of International House of Pancakes founder Abe Finkel, has put his extravagant Florida mansion on the market for $7.25 million.

The estate, located at 5550 Hancock Road in Florida’s Southwest Ranches, is a 21,656-square-foot marvel of ostentatious architecture. The current owners, Nathan and his wife Jacqueline, inherited the estate from Nathan’s father, the founder of the iconic International House Of Pancakes restaurant chain.
The elder Finkel founded IHOP, which has become one of the country’s go-to restaurant for buttermilk pancakes, in 1958. Currently, the chain boasts more than 1,750 restaurants across the United States.

Built in 2001, the house sits on a 7.5-acre lot and has 9 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. The home is hidden away by a garden path and the surrounding gated community of Southwest Ranches. News of the listing was first reported by the Real Deal.

But to pancake lovers’ disappointment, the house doesn’t reveal much in the way of the diner empire’s history. Instead, the Florida-style estate has a bowling alley, a five-car garage, dance and yoga studios, four fireplaces and a movie theater. The bar room alone clocks in at 800 square feet.
The estate also has a giant swimming pool with slides, a waterfall, a diving board, a hot tub and a deck.
